Is it possible to have both the "in" and "out" failure? I've had ALL of the symptoms described. Other diagnosis- Cardiomyopathy, CHF, AFib and VTach, sudden cardiac death (ICD). All of which started at the tender age of 6 months old. Was sick long before they figured out what was going on.
@BS-dq1kz5 жыл бұрын
Claudia Prasauskas Can you please help me? I have been sick for as long as I can remember but I am so sick now I can’t function. I was recently diagnosed with Graves’ disease and it does increase chances of heart problems and I definitely have symptoms. I have terrible shortness of breath, Venous Insufficiency which makes my legs swell huge, my jugular vein has been hurting for about five years now and get big, I’m extremely weak, I have headaches, terrible dizzy spells and vomiting. The list goes on but my point is I really think I have something serious going on. I am only 37 and I have three kids who need me to be healthy! I’m very anxious. I went to the cardiologist and he found my Graves’ disease and ordered tests for my leg veins so I found I have the Venous Insufficiency through him. He also ordered a nuclear stress test and echo. My echo came back fine but my stress test said... 1: I have thickening of the myocardium 2: Mild mid-apical ischemia 3: Preserved LV Systolic Function I read #3 is heart failure?! I’ve watched videos and read allover the internet and nothing is easing my mind that it is t heart failure! Could my untreated Graves have caused this? Will I die and leave my kids? I’m very miserable. Not sure you’ll read this but if you do, thanks!
@animesearch325 жыл бұрын
+BS17 Hai, there.First of all, you really need to calm down. Stress will get your healthy even worst, so chill down. Grave's disease is caused by hyperthyroidism, so your metabolism rate is high.So, it's common to have tachycardia, weight loss and etc...I'm not so sure about the diagnosis of 'preserved LV' but you really need to consult first your cardiologist to confirm that your 'heart problem' is severe or not. My mom once did a echo test and turned out to have normal ecg but she's still being diagnosed of having LBBB (left bundle branched block) .... luckily it is not that serious. So, my mom starts to take good care of her health (LOW-CHOLESTEROL DIET IS WAY IMPORTANT eg: banana, garlic) You really need to maintain well your blood pressure!!!Seriously, it really helps my mom..Hope u see this, if there's any mistake please inform me. I'm just an ordinary medical student :'))

In backward failure, isn't the blood going to lung not coming from it. If the right ventricle isn't able to pump efficiently then the blood should go back to body causing systemic edema. Please explain.

Easy to say that, until you’re ended up with orthopnea from cardiovascular disease. The stress alone from not being able to sleep. Is more than enough to break a pastor sanity. And lastly, try to stop the hate for meds. You might be didn’t know, but Uperio saved thousands lives from ended up on operating table. And Lasix also saves lots of people dying from out of breath caused by fluid retention.

E tough living without your momma:( I just read my results from my recent nuclear stress test and it says I have Preserved Left Ventricle Systolic Function which I have read is heart failure. Do you mind me asking how old your mom was and what were her symptoms? I am having a hard time and o feel terrible. I’m also very worried about being so sick because I need to raise my kids. I have pulmonary edema and I cough a lot a lot! I haven’t had any explanation for this until now. Also I can’t lose weight but I’m not eating very much so it seems funny to me. *I also sweat a lot? *Also when I go to the toilet I can’t seem to start peeing it’s like impossible. *And I often get a comment that my lips are going blue. Are these three symptoms also indicative of left sided heart failure?? (Please anybody of you viewers knows, please comment)
