Tried to do this with Google and can't get it to work. would be nice if you did a short video using Google.

Can do. But you can download iCloud for Windows. Sign in and configure outlook and iCloud calendar.

Do you not get how to send the event to OneNote. Or how to set up your calendar in outlook?

I do not see google calendar in this video, you only use outlook? Seems like for google calendar I have to have an addon like Zapier to link them? Any suggestions?

So the process is the same with google calendar. You would just need to add your gmail as an account in outlook.

Unfortunately I don't use Outlook. So no syncing options then I assume with add-ons. The title was not clear to me . Thank you.@@bodendorfer

@@lareydunn697 It's okay - the title wasn't clear to anybody. It promised Google Calendar but gave us Outlook.

Not really working that way in MacOS environment.

Yes this method is for windows users. OneNote app on the app ecosystem doesn't have all the features that exist on the windows version.

Click bait - if you have to update both your calendar app and your planner in order for them to match, you haven't synced anything. You've copied and pasted between sources.

correction... When you are able to click on a link and update the application, you are connecting the apps and those updates are bringing the apps into sync. For so many people this is a huge workflow hack.

@@bodendorfer No - when you changed the time of your coffee meeting you had to open up the original Outlook entry and change the time in there. Having an embeded link to open up the Outlook event is not syncing. Being able to drag the event to the new time and Outlook updating itself automatically is syncing. Adding a new event in Outlook and having it automatically appear in the planner is syncing. Making a change to one and having the other update itself is syncing. The number of steps you had to go thru is not syncing. It may be a "huge workflow hack" but it is not syncing. The reason I called it clickbait is because the title promised something that the video didn't deliver. The title also said that the video would show us how to link the planner to Google or Apple Calendar - but the video only showed how to do it with Outlook. I don't need it to connect with Outlook. I don't even have Outlook. I need it to connect to Google Calendar which is what the title card promised but didn't deliver.

@@KyleWitten indeed it was click bait. The number of steps needed to do this is crazy, not efficient at all.
