same or similiar engines and quite a stale market i guess, but tbh i wouldnt know how i would change the gameplay of a game to make it new and fresh

@@wertirwertir4235Include more animations for example (movement, running, jumping, skipping obstacles, rolling, crawling, climbing, juicy melee combat, acrobatics etc.) it's the animations that give games a unique feeling. When you don't have a lot of animations and your character just runs and shoots it gets boring, that's a PUBG style of game. But for example look at Splinter Cell Blacklist from 2013, there are so many combat moves and takedowns, i believe there are over 100 melee takedowns, plus different climbing animations and jumping over obstacles. The game still holds up today because of the animations, they are so nice and fluid. But there are other examples like Spiderman, Batman, Avengers, Just Cause, God Of War, Control, Tomb Raider, Watch Dogs, Assassin's Creed, Death Stranding, The Last Of Us, Wukong Black Myth, Star Wars, Devil May Cry.. All these games feel very fresh and modern because of juicy animations and combat system. There are also games with fantastic animations even though there aren't lots of acrobatics, like Red Dead Redemption 2, Days Gone, MGSV: Phantom Pain.. MGSV was released in 2015, almost 10 years ago and still looks fresher than a lot of games nowdays. Even some PS2 games from early 2000's had better animations than a lot of games from 2020's, for example Def Jam Fight For NY, Rise Of Honor, God Of War 1/2/3, Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 2 and 3.. That's why arguably the best games in the world are 3rd person games which are played for many years after, while 1st person games are mostly 1-season wonders unless it has a tremendous story but that's rare. Also co-op, personally i'm tired of single player open worlds. Single player linear games are fine, but open worlds get stale when playing alone. The only open world games i can truly enjoy alone are Skyrim and Oblivion, although sometimes i'd like to play them in co-op as well. Any game can be better when playing co-op, even if the game is mediocre at least you can have fun together. But playing alone in a mediocre open world game is just dull for me.

To clarify this idea, the anticheat that this game uses is called a root-level anticheat. This means that it sits in the root of your pc (or the very bottom framework). This isn't uncommon though. Most popularly, Valorant's Vanguard anticheat is also a root-level anticheat, along with some EA titles and even Genshin Impact. They aren't inherently bad, but it is the possibility that freaks people out about root-level anticheats. One of the biggest worries is that these anticheats can accidentally throttle your GPUs / CPUs and brick them. This was an issue when Valorant first came out and GPUs were basically being burned out of PCs. One of the other worries is that being in essentially the heart of the computer, these anticheats have access to basically anything it wants. Now these companies don't (we think...) do anything with this information, but malicious hackers can use these anticheats as a backdoor into systems. Long story short, these root-level anticheats are nothing new or uncommon and are really efficient at what they are intended to accomplish, but with how far technology has come along nowadays, they are riddled with security and performance issues that have yet to be solved. They are basically just an accepted risk at this point.

Remnant 1 was a borefest and Remnant 2 is a snooze fest the whole game is aimed at co-op , why even compare the two ? They are not in the same branch.

Oh man. I finished Remnant 2 with 100 hours on steam. Definitely did not disappoint. I stopped playing because it ran out of content for me. Hopefully Synced can keep me busy.

Lies of P is exactly like Dark Souls. Remnant 2 is a better comparison to having a better identity. It is Dark Souls with guns and no other game has soulsborn with guns aspect to it.
