About Video:-
according to faraday, when we rotate a wire inside a magnetic field, an electromotive force is generated in it. we can also call this force voltage.
to generate electricity we have two mechanisms, one stator winding is set on the armature and the other stator winding is set on the stator itself.
when we talk about small generators, the armature winding is always mounted on the rotor, but in a thermal power plant or a big station, the stator winding of a synchronous generator remains mounted on the stator, due to which heavy current and voltage can be easily collected.
in this video, the working principle of the synchronous generator has been explained with the help of 3d animation. apart from this, the working of salient pole synchronous generator and cylindrical pole synchronous generator and synchronous motor has been explained in detail.

4:46 nahi AC supply me current ka direction hamesha change hota hai aur agar ham field winding me direct AC supply denge to magnetic pole jo banega wo rotate karega jo ki stator se banaye gaye opposite rotating field se lock ho jayega to generator bijali nahi banayega aur ghumna bhi band kar dega, agar AC supply dena hai to full wave bridge rectifier ke sath filtration ke liye polarised capacitor use karna hoga jo AC supply ko pure DC supply me badal dega 😎

No, If AC is provided in the field winding then it will induce AC in the armature winding and at that situation, no rotation will be required due the changing nature of Alternating Current. It will be similar to a step up transformer where the Field winding will induce a large amount of AC in the armature winding.

अगर रोटर पर ac supply देंगे तो बनने वाले मैगनेटिक poles बार बार चेंज होंगे चूँकि ac सप्लाई की वेव फॉर्म sinusodial होती होती है और हमें फिक्स्ड magnetic poles चाहिए इसलये रोटर पर dc सप्लाई देते हैँ। ❤
