Well said. Yes, the courses were terribly difficult during that period. Riders and horses injured. People slamming riders are not and could never be an equestrian. I once had a doctor tell me that riding was not exercise because the horse did all the work. I fired that jackarse and that's an insult to donkies.

A loose horse is more dangerous than a human lying on the ground so it makes sense. They were quick to get to princess anne though but she was clearly okay.

Princess Anne v Princess DIana on any level is a superb thought but Anne even giving a shiny shit for the spotlight, about Diana or any sort of popularity contest is gold 🤣😅😂

I think it was probably embarrassment that caused her to act like that. Yes she’s a Princess but she’s also a dedicated equestrian. So toppling off of her horse and having the horse also nearly collapse on her with all of those eyes watching must have been humiliating for her. In the moment, you want to brush it off and show that you’re fine, which she clearly wasn’t watching the way she limped alongside the horse. I didn’t see any “special treatment” though. Just a tough girl trying to compete fairly.

Don't talk bollocks. That fall knocked the wind out of her and she was doing that "I'm fine I'm fine let me just get my breath.. Fuuuuccckkkk... that hurts" There's nothing worse than right after that kind of fall when you are up on your feet so OK but trying to just breathe, get comfy and don't know where to put yourself but need to keep moving. She wasn't moving people away like she didn't want to be touched by the peasants and I'm guessing by that comment, you're not familiar with Anne at all 😂 First thing she did on hitting the ground was turn and start to get up and see if her horse was OK. He got up on his feet quickly and once he had, she needed to let herself catch breath and have some space to just ride out that horrible first wave. Hard as nails, as down to Earth as it gets and when we've passed her whilst walking the course at Burghley, she's trudging and feeling out the ground in her wellies like a regular pleb just there to watch her daughter ride.

Well if you notice she kinda tried to pull away first but he had a pretty good grip. She was already up he coulda let go already. Shes tough, doesn’t need help. I don’t think its anything to do with being a Princess.
