As a long time listener and fan of UKF, it is a surreal experience to hear a tune that Ana and I recorded vocals for to make its way onto this amazing channel! She did a bang up job writing for the track. There's plenty of beautiful verses to enhance the vibe as well as space for the tune to roll out. Massive thanks to the UKF team, Synergy, and Thibauld from OHLALA for being excellent to work with!

@@neolyth no way, the part from 2:55 is sampled from Mandala, their first ever colab, but I would say that it is sampled in a very clever way and sounds amazing with flowanastasia’s vocals. Top production anyway!

I didn't wanna agree with you... but aside from the vocals which are incredible, the tune itself was pretty bland to me until the halftime part. Half time part is wonderful though.

@@snakejazz Liked the first half more than the latter. What I don't like about the arrangement is that it's fast paced in the first half and loses bpm in the second half, thus losing it's drama and tension. It drags out in the end.

@@ShigaWSX it's the same bpm, just 2/4 instead of 4/4. The beginning dnb part was just a bit too plain for me, I dunno what drama you're talking about lol. It is essentially 3ish voices of sawtooth waves with very basic side chain compression with the kick drums, meh. And the drums had very little variation. The halftime second part has way more interesting production elements. Perhaps if the halftime part was first and then led into the dnb part for the second half with a bit more life to it I would have enjoyed it much more.

I meant drama as in tension. My opinion: Every song, movie, book or story has it in some way. Undeniably, the higher the pace is, the higher the tension, right? In music, that translates to faster drums. For me, it's simply anticlimactic to put a part with faster paced drums in the beginning and end the song with a lower paced, almost outfading part where the climax is supposed to be. You know, low-key, you are always expecting something big, a climax where every melody converges, to hit you at the 2/3 mark of a song, which is why I felt let down here by the arrangement.

It's pretty addicting not gonna lie. The simplicity in sound design forces the producer to think more from a musical standpunt what I sometimes really miss in dnb.

@@outsider1st Sounds like C&K track = quality. Typical UKF track is another Wilkinson, Sub Focus or Dimension that we have heard a thousand times before. Or yet another repetitive boring liquid. I like both liquid and mainstream dancefloor DnB, but it hardly makes it's way into my favorites. Every artists evolves as the music itself always had. And that's how it should be. If you prefer the old Synergy that's absolutely fine and i can understand that but if they did not like what they do they would not do it.
