I know how you prefer to put out quality over quantity (I love that, it means you get to work on what you like, and at your own pace). I tend to assume that a multi-day gap between videos means you wither ran into taming trouble, you're working on something of unparalleled quality, or you're taking a well-deserved break. Point being, take care of yourself first. The videos will happen when they do, and they'll be great either way. Happy birthday to Heather!

If you call it Johnny Storm you need to go back to Scorched and tame a Rock Golem, call it The Thing. Then when you get a Rock Drake, call it Susan Storm. Then a blood stalker called Reed Richard’s 😂

People set bags of poop on fire and place it on people’s porches because your natural instinct is to stomp the fire leading to getting poop all over your shoe. Probably a very common prank in 80s and 90s. Not so much nowadays.

Yes back in the 80's and early 90's they used to put dog poop in a bag and light it on fire, rang the bell and ran. The person came to the door and tried to stomp on it to put the fire out, stomped on the poo. After awhile though, it didn't work because people caught on.

The pyro poop's use is that it spoils into charcoal so you could set up some pyros and a dung beetle for a passive charcoal farm and save yourself the mass wood burning c: Also entering water does indeed remove the burning debuff but you need to dismount to remove it from your character

They're going to *have* to make future paid creatures OP now. If they don't people won't want to pay for them, especially given the comparison of the pyromane there'll be an attitude of "why pay for something when it isn't as strong as the pyromane for the same price?" There was a certain amount of power creep as it was, it's only going to get worse now. I think even as I gradually upgrade my computer I'll probably end up sticking with ASE, the few improvements in ASA just aren't worth the price for me.

(Havent finished the vid yet) you kinda missed the thing on the right while mounted on the pyromane that says ctrl C to swap to shoulder pet. Also you can make them rest in baby form, its the little moon icon

As a singleplayer ark player i absolutely love the fire kitty and i didnt mind the $5 price. I do think that implementing it in the base game and not as a mod was a mistake. If you dont want to buy it then you shouldn't be forced to deal with its wild spawns. As far the the PVP paywall arguement....i really cant defend it at all. As cool as they are, the fairest thing to do would probably be to disable them on PVP servers entirely. However, that's just my take as a solo offline player.

I like the idea of the shoulder pet to a rideable creature but they definitely could have used it on a creature where it will make sense. A flaming lion doesn’t to shoulder doesn’t make sense. (Ferox maybe or new creature)

You need a pair seeing the shoulder pet version will mate boost the other one. These things make getting artifacts a lot easier. In the jump puzzle you can literally jump onto the pillars and then jump up to the artifact of the pack. it takes some practice but it doesn’t matter if you miss seeing landing in lava is not a issue and you can jump back up.

Another perk of the pyromane is if you or the dino you're riding get leeched and you have one on your shoulder it burns it off automatically. Found this out the other day when I was collecting sarco skin and boa venom.

If you have a wyvern you can pick the pyromane up without agro, find a shoreline with plenty of herbivores, drop it in the water then just go on a rampage 😂

Could be very very good in dragon and brood mother arena if they aren’t affected by flames and increase damage against insects. Also since it can ride on your shoulder, it may be the new cave mount.

I good method to taming a pyromane is the 2 trap method. Build one trap in shallow water for the pyromane and a second trap for creatures (Idealy turtles) you want to kill/fire absorb with the pyromane. You will need to lure or carry the craetures and pyromane to the traps though.
