The Machinedrum is more modular, 16 assignable LFOs keeps it in a lane of it's own... the Syntakt is an incedible synth as well and shines with the modern Elektron sequencer, FX and analog options. I still like the Machinedrum the most, but it was my first Elektron instrument.

@@VoltageCtrlRtv thanks for reply, yea i love the machinedrum. its got a unique sound that is just on the edge of being harsh/mechanical yet it stays sounding great. Do you think the syntakt can achieve a similar sound? i want to buy machinedrum but im almost sure next elektron device will be monomachine/MD remakes. Love ur content, cheers!
