Synth Guitar Live setup with Fishman Triple Play - The dark side of the Synth!

Күн бұрынMany people ask me how I setup my synth Guitar rig for live use. In this video I'll go over the gear and tech I use as well as give tips to ease the journey to the dark side!!!!
As well as the Fishmen Triple Play, I use Apple's Mainstage to host all my sounds (with a few tricks) and use the Line 6 FBV to control everything!
If you are in the South of England you can see inflict all this tech on an audience either on a Nickjitsu show or with the Lee Aaron Band (no, not that Lee Aaron!)

Great setup! I just got my Triple Play back in my rig..will have to look onto a synth module..I run my Sony wireless into the Fishman FC-1 into my pedalboard so I’m completely wireless and software is on my iPad Pro..thanks for the info!

Nick, can you explain 'Hardware mode' for me ? I'm missing the point. Why are you going through the triple play software? At around 4:30 you said 'seperate sound card' Do you mean audio interface ? I'm not being picky, just trying to follow. Do you run your guitar through an amp, or do you play through plugins ?

Hi Alan.Aye, when I say soundcard I do mean audio interface. I'm old and that's what they used to be called. I've never got out of the habit. I go over hardware mode in a video that will be out shortly, but it's in the list where you'd choose your synth in the TP software. I think it's about 3rd or 4th down and it's before the list of synths. There will be yet another video explaining the guitar rig (these things take sooooooo much editing), but aye, I do use an amp. It's the Bluguitar Amp 1 in the video although I'm about to change my rig to use the Quad Cortex (and aye, yet another video). I run the Amp 1 in stereo using a Line 6 HX fx for a wet/dry rig. The synth stuff is run seperately.
