Boogie's injury was brutal to watch. He was probably the best center in the league, and he tears his Achilles chasing after a ball going out of bounds. Him and AD had so much potential together if he didn't get hurt.

I remember watching that on tv and as a Pelicans fan I can say this is one of the biggest missed potential in recent NBA history

Brandon Roy man... The wounds are yet to heal. D-Rose too. Two absolute ballers and two of the most humble and likeable players ever.

I would've included bill walton. He was shaping up to be one of the greatest centers in nba history before his injuries.

Brandon Roy is a really tough one as a blazers fan. He's the reason why I became a fan even though I'm not from Oregon or US. Made me appreciate the game more

Personal favorite of mine is Arvydas Sabonis - Domantis's dad. The original pass-first, 3-level threat Center, decades before Jokic made it popular. Even though he only got the NBA at 31 years of age and was horribly hindered by injuries (as well as poor treatment of said-injuries), that made him a shell of himself and his true skillset, guy was still a monster and such a badass to watch work. Really recommend watching highlights of him from back in the day.

You guys should do a video about some og Blazer's players, guys like Maurice Lucas, Jerome Kersey...or the original Blazer Geoff Petrie! Some great, yet mostly forgotten players by NBA fans...

It’s not over yet, but I’m putting Zion Williamson on this list. I would be shocked if he ever plays a full season.

Nah real ones remember Brandon Roy. He was a beast and a top 10 player during his absolute peak and completely healthy. If he never had that degenerative injury, he’d be one of the best shooting guards of all time.

GOATs gets injured more often than you think, especially at the end of their career. Off tops, Bird's back gave out on him, Magic's AIDS, Kobe's Achilles are all brutal. They did get their GOAT runs, but those three are all brutal to watch. Injuries/sudden ending of careers includes classic names a la: Bill Walton (could have created a Blazers dynasty late 70s), Reggie Lewis (could have helped carried the Celtics into the 90s with some dignity), Drazen Petrovic (could have done more to be among the best European in the league All-Time, had he finished his career, his 3 ball were something else).

Sam Bowie was the #2 overall pick by the Blazers in 1984. Ahead of Michael Jordon. Charles Barkley. John Stockton. Sam Perkins. But, that's not the most significant injury in Blazer, or NBA history. Bill Walton was the most significant. There's something in the water here in Portland that doesn't sit well with NBA centers. Just ask Arvydas Sabonis. BTW. Love the channel.

Not a superstar but jus a tier below was John wall , he was my fav player coming up , him and Rose their playstyle attracted me to the game , once Rose went down it was Wall alone as my fav player , seeing how he played i prayed he wouldnt face the same fate as Rose and he pretty much did , knee injuries , heel spurs, achilles all in his prime , he was on track to have a HOF career , comjng off his best season at only 26 he was never fully healthy again after 2017

winning the nba title doesn't make you world champion at most north american champions since you like a canadian team and I know its the best league but when someone wins the premier league or the ucl they are not champions of the world thats why they play a mini fifa cup for the world title against all winners from different continents ,
