"Children" is an instrumental composition by Italian composer Robert Miles. It was first released in Italy in January 1995 as part of the EP Soundtracks on Joe Vannelli's DBX label, but it did not chart. Vannelli brought the track to a nightclub in Miami where it was heard by Simon Berry of Platipus Records.

Well .......THIS is outstanding, grew up on this song. Orchestra meets synth ..... BOOM!!!!!! This IS the children of our generation ..... undercut, rhythmic sounds, cellos leads, lights ...... it's all ABOUT the lives we lead. Mr Miles, master of the angelic euphoria we lead.

Ironically, Children" was created by Miles as a slower track to conclude a night's set that would calm ravers prior to their driving home as a means to reduce car accident deaths. How I wish this performance could be presented in 7.1 discrete audio. Still, an incredibly moving presentation, Synthony.

For anyone with any doubt, playing this very simple piece ( yet beautiful ) by a bunch of classically trained musicians is literally child play. They could have done this blindfolded in their sleep. Children By Robert miles is nothing, when you have played La Campanella or Beethhoven Violin Concerto.
