Walking down Fulton St in Brooklyn last year, wearing my Pearl t-shirt. "He was something else" the guy walking towards me says. Still remembered.

Humble dude The gr8 Pearl. Glad I met him and talked to him on a few occasions I had no shame approaching him EVERYTIME I saw him. NONE

Pearl was a rare player who could leave the vaunted defense of Ewing/Graham flat-footed, or flailing at air. Great rivalry, Orange vs Hoyas.

Remembering Dwayne (Pearl) Washington in basketball 🏀 camp 1984 BIG Orange. He played pick up game with us kids with Derrick Brower He was very special man humble & was down to earth man.
