When I first heard this song my empathy kicked in and I just genuinely felt sadness/despair listening to the lyrics, while at the same time I was overjoyed at how much of a banger this song is. Now I can't get enough of this!

The space suit only has a limited amount of air. And even if it somehow was able to filter air through it, perhaps she said the line implying that her suit had possibly gotten punctured. Either way technically this song is a metaphor on a girl worrying about her relationship I think.
