In the first place why they come to somalia if they a poor country. As we know somalia is a coming up country and there is a lot of job opportunities if you are a foreigner , but if you come and don’t wanna be work instead of that you stand in the streets with a board hopping some one will give you money that’s lame

Every Syrian in Mogadishu lives in a hotel, they serve in the most expensive markets, they eat in expensive restaurants as well, every Syrian says my wife or mother is in a difficult situation and is undergoing surgery. need it urgently, I don't think they pay 10 dollars for their bed every night, Somalis help them a lot knowing that most of their claims are false, Syrians don't like the country's language and their country's currency. trying to force them to do something without leaving you, Somalis are generous people and don't imitate people who think that the Somali nation is smarter than them. If you want to confirm the statement that someone from their family needs surgery, you can find it anywhere on social media, and in interviews with Somali journalists and local TV stations. They are looking for something to be done about their condition, Somalis know this, but they are only being treated as guests.

Syrians are amazing people very civilised (many of them work as doctors and dentists through out Somalia) but from what I've learnt there are one or two tribes in Syria (whose language is not even arabic) who even in prewar Syria were well known for having a begging culture. They were hated and despised by other Syrian people. I don't know if these people's claims is true or not Allah alone knows.

Their women can work as house maids like every other low income people in somalia. Their men can work in restaurants, schools, or markets. They can earn money and then start business. Somalis love people who are honest and hardworking, and they'll lend you a hand and support you.

Because to be able establish a business, you need money for permits etc and especially in unstable govt like Somalia, you need bribes & pass through the Somaliam bureacracy (especially since you are a technically "foreigner").

There are many Syrians here in Hargeisa too, most of them are beggars, we also have Yemenite’s who are hard working people and have integrated into our society and are already speaking Somali and I’ve never seen one of them begging. What’s the difference? Same hardships in their respective countries, I guess…….. I don’t know, never mind, we will still help them for the sake of ALLAH.

The problem is Syrian refused to be registered at charties . They are coming and leaving when they come first time I Somalia we give them houses and food and money just search 2019 to 2021 . they left and stayed hotels which costs 15 dollar per night they also luck of skills Yemens turn into are rich and have booming business, Syrians were welcomed more than yemens their problem is travelling from city to city country to country they need integration programs . Yemenis come with skills , Their condition is better than those who reside in lebonan who face mistreatment and the cold weather expiring visa also better then those who are living in Turkey and Jordan camps.

Syrians are nice people. Somalis love Syrians and respect, the problem is language barriers when immigrant came to a country they need to learn the language, and also Somalia is type of place that makes you scare first couple years, but after that you going to like it because of the people and the culture. Somalis are kind people. and understood what is like being a immigrant. i would suggest Syrian brothers try to learn the language open your mind stop comparison to your homeland understands this is deferent country things are bit deferent. but the good thing is Somalis loves Syrians the rest you can do for yourself be creative . Remember 45% Somalis are, or once was a immigrant to another country and some of them still are. by the way if you have shelter the rest will come

I feel for those struggling, but we have our own people struggling more, and some dont even have roof over their head like the family in the video. Syrians cannot expect that somalis only donate to them, since we will be distributing donations to all the need. The family in this video can easily find work, the women can work house maids for rich households and more. Unfortunately I have seen syrian refugees begging money in bakaro, while I was told they lived in darusalam (one of the richest neighbourhood in mogadishu). That ruins it for other syrians that truly are in need of donation. And that's not acceptable, neither in somalia nor in islam. We also have yemeni refugees, and so far I have seen, they work for their money, specifically in restaurants.

Syrians with skills work in every sector some of them has blooming business, But majirity of them luck off basic skills even they want to live hotels , Even middle class people around the World cannot afford 15 dollar hotels.
