In many ways, Daron Malakian is the guitarist I always wanted to be. Not in terms of sound or technique; our styles don't really have much in common except for both being generally on the Metal spectrum and liking to change it up a lot. But rather, it looks like so much fun to have his job in a band like that - doing crunchy riffs and creative backing vocals in a one-guitar four-piece alongside a driving-force lead singer, an awesome drummer that prioritizes teamwork over showing off, and a bass player with a full, rich sound that can handle lines usually played by a rhythm guitar.

in the recent interviews the system's drummer John Dolmayan said that they already have monster tracks which could have place in the upcoming album, and it could be at least as crazy as Toxicity, but the problem is they can't unite as they did before..
