I love how simple daron malakian makes his guitar riffs. The most intricate riff from daron is in chop suey as i heard a breakdown of it and man its detailed

System wins it for me, Rammstein definitely has some good riffs but Daron Malakian was one of the first guys that inspired me to experiment with lower tunings like Drop C and Drop C# and not to mention that he’s also one of my favourite guitarists

System of a Down is not a Nu / Alternative Metal band ... The same band is not considered as such since they do not follow trends and also their influences are everywhere, it is a versatile band, it's not a dimensional band. System is a particular and versatile rock band!

System is classified as Alternative Metal largely because they're definitely metal, but no one knows what the hell to classify them as specifically. Personally, I'd say they're an accessible form of Progressive Metal.

System is a versatile band, not only limited to one style like most bands like Rammstein ... System has Heavy Metal, Thrash Metal, Groove Metal, Hard Rock, Punk, Death, Black, Pop Rock, Nu Metal, etc, and not only limited to Rock and Metal, in his music there are all kinds of musical styles, passing on his Armenian roots. And all through a unique and own style ... So System is the winner!

I must admit that SOAD has more complex rythmic riffs, but I still don't like the "hysterical" voice of the singer... in my opinin it's kinda annoying and ruins the band. Rammstein on the other hand has more "simplystic" riffs, but at least he doesn't scream like a women... I like his deep hard powerful voice, it gives me chills. But in the end everyone has different tatse so it's all cool. Luckily Metal is very diverse and multifacated, so there is something for everyone

Для меня System of a down явно выигрывает! У них риффы более разнообразные, в отличие от Rammstein ... Жалко, что не были показаны риффы из Toxicity и Chop suey , хотя это самые известные песни System of a down 😞

I like Soad the most of the Nu metal bands along with Static-X I think their the better bands. But Rammstein is still my favorite so of course I'm going to pick them. Plus Industrial metal over Nu Metal a thousand times over.
