During the gameplay of System Shock: Enhanced Edition I encountered the following glitches and bugs:
- (0:00) Intro
- (0:05) Non-solid Surfaces / Clipping
- (1:30) Weird Perspective
- (2:26) Levitation / Physics glitches
- (3:01) Crazy Viewport spin
- (3:12) Inactive AI (not an bug, see comments)

3:13 The "inactive AI" is not a bug. The robots are turned off and supposed to be in recharge mode. When the power switch is turned on or some robots are killed, they will become active (and by that time the hacker has best placed a lot of mines in the room...). There is even an audio log describing that. The weird perspective is just how sprites in a pseudo-3D engine used to work. Not much different in Doom/Duke Nukem 3D. The other stuff can probably be called glitchy, but it never registered as a bug to me back in the day.... we weren't used to modern 3D engines back then ;)

Hi, thanks for sharing your thoughts on this video. I usually don't record videos for such old games, but I did an exception for SS:EE, because it received a official modernized port. As for the inactive AI: I probably missed that audio log or forgot about it (this was recorded in late 2021) - whoops.

I'm getting this ghosting affect with any movement, and I don't know how to fix it. When I play the Classic version I don't get that. But with the Enhanced edition I do.

Hi. Many people (included me) have this problem because of the Direct3D renderer. To fix it, go to the Options menu and in the Video tab click on Resolution > Driver and change the Direct3D driver to Vulkan. I hope it works for you too.

@@R33D3M33R Through spending more time tinkering in the options I managed to figure it out on my own. But thank you for communicating that to me. It's definitely a cool game for it's time.
