the one in our school ibrary it was going off as i walked back to my room. there's a horn outside the building too, right where i have to walk past. it's loud. almost every dorm here has them except mine. but they just got them this past summer.

The pull station over by the power panel likes to have the same lock problems as mine, it just doesnt want to turn as easily.

It would be really cool if you could set it up so that when the fire system goes into alarm, the Thunderbolt does a Fire Call (Hi-Lo). In essence, setup a relay of the alarm zone in the FACP to trigger the Thunderbolt to do Hi-Lo Just an Idea. Let me know what you think.

We have spector alert advance horn strobes in my school and they are ear piercing and I have to sit under it.

DANG! what did I get myself into lol. I'll probably give it what I call "commander treatment". 4 layers of scotch tape over the outter horn opening, which is what I did to one of my Commander3s.

You should get a sync module for those so they sound better

the pull station under the spectralert advance is a Simplex 9806 or the tbar duel action. their easy and not nice.

That Spector alert Advanced is loud on horn its in my school AND U CAN HEAR IT FROM MY HOUSE DONT BELEIVE ME ILL RECORD 1 FOR U

One of the SpectrAlert Classics that I found on ebay is only 16 dollars.

When you silenced the system, then reset it, it took 1:20.959 because of the silly dual action pull station not reseting maybe the simplex dual action pull station might need replaced with a different pull or push station if it's not reseting properly! LOL!!!
