i LOVE that sam exposes his children to films like star wars and music like queen. as a 90's kid, i was predominantly raised on bee gees, earth wind and fire, chicago, wham!, chaka khan, simple minds, madonna, hall & oates... there's something nostalgic about 70's/80's songs that make it appealing, and it live to be the most iconic eras for music. i appreciate the music of the past as compared to today's tunes, and these 'old songs' are sadly regarded as meme music and people nowadays only think they get 'rickrolled' when rick astley's never gonna give you up or toto's africa play. i hope will and ben will grow to appreciate the songs our grandparents and parents grew up with without thinking "oh, it's the song from that meme".
