The T-33 and the the L-39 are my favorite subsonic jet trainers. My father flew in a T-33 back when it was still in inventory. He loved it and described it as fun jet to fly around. He and other pilots called it the "T-Bird".

Years ago I got to go into a hangar where the Ace Maker T33 was there on a few days and the Airwork that on this Beautiful warbird was amazing. He does a great show.

That Lockheed T-33 Shooting Star is an awesome aircraft! I wouldn’t mind owning one if I had money to fuel it and maintain it. Also if I could fly it. I’d also love to have a Northrop T-38C Talon, Douglas A-4K Skyhawk, Boeing T-45C Goshawk, North American T-2C Buckeye, Lockheed S-3B Viking, North American OV-10D Bronco, Grumman OV-1D Mowhawk, and a Embraer A-29A Super Tucano as well.

@@thereissomecoolstuff you know what yes sir and a MIG-17 that would be awesome too. May as well have a MIG-21 and an F-86 too lol. All good stuff.

@@Tuglife912 Definitely a F86. Don’t know why I like the Mig so much. There are planes that will give you a ride. I’d do a T33 and M17.

I remember back in 1960s Mexico used to have almost 60 T 33 airplanes what happened with them?

As long as the engine maintains 99% thrust - all good ! Power roll back & you are screwed -

I thought that "Ace Maker" was badly damaged in a landing accident a couple years ago when one of the main struts went through the upper wing???

Greg has three of them. I believe that one got fixed as well.
