oliver’s siderods are different from edward’s, you can tell since it’s longer (width wise) and shorter height wise

To confirm: Yes oliver's siderods are longer and wont work with edward's sideroads unless u want risk breaking it

I gave my Molly custom static siderods, which are the long Gordon/Henry siderods but with half of it cut off Looks way better than no siderods

Honestly I'd still say the Trackmaster Belle is the better model, even if the siderods don't move. It has a lot more details and feels more accurate.
