Shot in Trollhättan on 21-November-2021 during rerouting / omledning. Normally, SJ X2 trains and Flixtrain trains between Göteborg and Stockholm use Västra Stambanan (the western mainline), but were rerouted on this day.
Trollhättan is a town of about 59 000 located along Vänerbanan / Norgebanan. The Swedish film industry has a lot of facilities here, so many Swedish films are at least partly shot here and the town has been nicknamed Trollywood. The electric-car manufacturer NEVS has facilities here as well in some of SAAB Automobile's old facilities. SAAB automobile was based in Trollhättan from 1947 until the last car rolled off the line in 2011.

3:00 - Northbound Green Cargo Rc4 double header at 12:54 (15566 -37).
3:22 - Southbound Vy/NSB/Norwegian State Railways express train from Oslo to Göteborg including 73141, 73146, and 73045 at 13:10 (395 -2).
5:04 - Views of the lift bridge Järnvägsbron.
5:25 - Northbound Västtågen VTA X61 X61024 at 13:39 (17348 -3).
6:01 - Nortbound SJ X52-3 9079 (A collab between Värmlandståg, Västtågen, and SJ). At 13:48 (364).
6:30 - Northbound SJ X2 2006 crosses the bridges at 14:03 (37246 +7).
6:44 - Southbound SJ X52-3 9077 at 14:06 (363 -2).
7:03 - Southbound VTA X61 61024 at 14:17 (17351).
7:16 - Northbound Green Cargo Rd2 1095 pulls empty freight train at 14:20 (79772 +7).
7:46 - The rail yard by the station.
8:05 - Green Cargo Rc4 1275 and Rd2 1085 pull a southbound freight at 14:32 (5767 +119).
8:39 - VTA X52-3 9089 heads north at 14:34 (17352).
9:00 - Northbound Vy headed for Oslo (396).
9:55 - Southbound Flixtrain (Hector Rail Vectron 243.222) headed for Göteborg at 15:10 (23091 -2).
10:06 - Northbound Green Cargo double header with Rd2 1135 and Rd2 1044 (Built by ASEA in 1975 and 1970 respectively) at 15:16 (9012 +74).
10:13 - BONUS - SJ X2 rerouted past Borås Övre Station on 31-March-2018.

Great video - tack - still trying to figure out who's who in Sweden's train companies...

Varsågod and thank you for watching! All the different companies can be confusing, particularly with various short-term contracts, leasing of rolling stock between companies, etc.

@@TrainspottinginSweden I did some research - obviously the rolling stock and the "hardware" infrastructure (tracks, train stations) were separated at one time, and the "hardware" actually taken "away" from SJ and put into the hands of "Travikverket." This then led to a more competitive use of different providers of rolling material.

@@AMichaelUhlmann Around WWII, most private and regional operators were brought under the state-owned SJ umbrella. As you mention, (on 1/1/2001) SJ was split into separate entities with Green Cargo handling freight, new SJ handling passengers, Jernhusen taking over buildings/real estate, etc. The market was then also opened to other operators, so trains and operators are far more diverse now than 21 years ago.
