This really speaks to me, I was molested for almost 11 years of my life by my uncle and step father. I finally came up about it about two years ago, and since I did I lost all of my old friends and my family quit talking to me. They don't believe me and it happened to two of my sisters as well, I am starting to think my mom doesn't even believe me. I was even at a point where I had to have four therapist every day. I am only 13 years old, I turn 14 in November. I haven't got justice and everyone that once believed me quit helping me fight for it. It's okay, because what ever happens, I am becoming a new person, I am starting to get self confident and I have myself. Being raped, molested or sexually assaulted forces you to live a different life than others. A lot of us have sex issues, body issues, bad attitudes, trust issues. Some love too hard and others push away love.. Some live in fear, or turn to a life of addiction, or decide to end it all. Some grow a shell and others do anything it takes to be loved because most times we miss that connection and just want to feel wanted, or needed because you don't know what you did to be hurt the way you were. It could have been a family member or a friend or maybe just somebody who took advantage of you and it sucks because after it happens you blame yourself for things that nobody could control. I'm a survivor of it. I struggle daily to love myself. I get upset, I clam up. I love hard, and I get hurt easily. At times I’m even overly emotional or emotionless. I am hard to understand at times, and I'm a handful to some. But that's okay because when I love, I love with everything in me and I always keep trying no matter what. That may not be enough for certain people but I'm proud of myself for how far I've come in life. I AM NOT ashamed to share this because I know a SURVIVOR!!!! It may be me, a friend, or a relative, or a complete stranger; but together, we have this!! Yes I do still have hard ships, every day gets hard, it's not easy to live any life with any bad incidents, of course there is more to the story of why I'm not fully mentally stable. but I can't talk about it yet, and I am hesitating so much to even post what I said. It's not easy to live life everyday not knowing what's going to happen the next. But if anyone ever needs help, just say something, I have snapchat, Instagram, discord and I could try to make other things. I know I am only 13 but I am more mature than most. But just know if God let you wake up this morning, then there is a reason for you to be here. Don't give up just yet. There is so much life has to offer. Know that you are loved. I would like to add that it’s currently Saturday, July 31st at 4:08 am. And everyone that has commented on this. And still does. I am grateful for.
