If TJ wasnt a Steeler he woulda had 4 DPOY titles. Ever since Rodger Goodell was put in charge the Steelers have been getting the short end.of the stick. He hates the Steelers. I would have more respect for TJ Watt if he was more than just a blitzing linebacker, which is what he is. I've seen games where he's had 2 or 3 sacks where he ran in there. Unblocked. Myles Garrett is a true defensive lineman. Who has to deal with double teams holding and being chipped on a constant basis. When teams decided to devote someone to block TJ Watt. His name wasn't called at all during that game.

Tj watt didn’t break the sack record the year he won, and Myles Garrett was a more impactful player if you look outside of the basic box score numbers this year. Your bias is really showing.

Myles earned it. Iam sure that myles scares offensive cordinators more than anyone else. Getting triple teamed repeatedly or a chip and a double or u could have 2 lineman shadow myles' every move like the titans tried 2 do.....watt gets some more stats yeah but myles' impact to a teams gameplan is simply unmatched.

All these crybaby fans look at are sacks. Tj watt had 5 more sacks. But garrett had a higher pass rush win rate, a better run stopping grade. Next gen stats did a top 10 disruptors list. Wich included sacks, qb pressures, QB pressure rate, pass rush win%, QB hurries and turnovers caused by pressure. Basically the biggest threat to opposibg offenses QBs. Garrett was 3. Tj wasnt in the top 10. Garrett lead the NFLs top defense, made game changing plays in big moments. The award is for the best defensive player not the sack leader. Garrett deserved it this year.
