Morehouse and Spelman were not founded by the Rockefellers but were major contributors to the colleges. The colleges were founded by abolitionist and education advocates for the advancement of black people in 1867 and 1881 respectively. This does not mean they are not HBCUs because black people didn’t have the power or funds at the time to continue to push the schools foward. Morehouse was created in 1867 but did not adopt the name until 1913. Before it was Morehouse the school was Atlanta Baptists College or ABC

THE GIFT OF READING!!!
@jermelpurse3018
@jermelpurse3018 Ай бұрын
It is actually been found that in the DNA of human beings we want to stay active. When most people get a hold and want to retire, they still want to work. It helps people feel needed necessary and most importantly it actually keeps your body going. It’s a very true statement. If you don’t use it, you lose it. Your body gets older the ability to reproduce new cells decreases so your body looks for any opportunities. It can to maximize efficiency if you don’t walk around and use your legs as much as you used to it’s a automatic signal to the body. We don’t need to move as much. Let’s reduce some of this leg mass, don’t use your arm as much as you used to. Notice some of our most active senior citizens are active because they never stopped being active. They never stopped moving. They never stopped doing. Something we should all take to heart just because you retire doesn’t mean you have to stop doing something.

(not sure if you’re a Christian or not) but, can i tell you. this morning i read Genesis for my morning reading to start my day. and in Genesis 2: 5-7 (NIV) it says the following: “Now no shrub had yet appeared on the earth and no plant had yet sprung up, for the Lord God had not sent rain on the earth and there was no one to work the ground, but streams came up from the earth and watered the whole surface of the ground. Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.” ‭‭ God created the earth and us as humans to be co-laborers in maintaining it with Him. we are hard wired “ to do”. it’s part of our literal being. as far as it being our way of surviving, that became perverted and broken by the curse of sin. which you see in Chapter 3 after the fall of mankind. but we were created by the Creative God, who made us to live and pour our souls into our own creations. ❤ pretty amazing.

OJ was 100% not guilty! There were so many factors pointing to him not doing it from; 1. The Mezzaluna restaurant being a hangout spot of Nicole's, which was full of mob boss corruption, had several waiters working there who were killed in similar fashion, 2. (which would be the icing on the cake for the case) Nicole’s phone records, that were blocked for obvious reasons, showing Nicole on the phone with her mother during the same time that OJ was on the way to Chicago which means that she was still alive when he left town. That's just two points out of SEVERAL that prove he didn't do it and I haven't even mentioned racist Mark Fuhrman! #Innocent #CaseClosed
