Cool! It's just like the Ventra cards we use in Chicago... They just don't have the characters/famous people on them. Ooh, next video, break down the currency. I think many would find it helpful! Oooh, Super Junior🤩🤩

1000 Won = .86 US Dollar. Just too keep things easy, I think of 1000 Won as $1.

@@mg2380 I know this. I mentioned it for those who don't know about the denominations of the won & how to convert it from their home currency. Just know the dollar fluctuates daily and tomorrow, that 100 won/.86 may jump down to .76 lol.

Thank you for the video, it helps a lot. Do you know if we can recharge or pay the T money card by credit card in convenience store ? I konw it is not possible on the ticket machines in the subway but maybe it's possible in convenience stores ...?

That special foreign Tmoney card must be new, I didn’t see them late November. Wasn’t there a way to get refunded on the balance as well? Thanks We Fancy 🎄

They remind me of the Octopus cards in Hong Kong, except that we can also use it to pay for stuff at convenient stores

question! if I wanna put like 10.000 won onto my card, but I only have a 50.000 won note, can I then put that note into the machine and it will just give me back my change or do I need to have smaller notes?

He mentioned that if you were using larger notes, to type in how much you want to go on the card. The change will be dispensed after.

ambski I would recommend about 30,000 won, if you’re going to use it daily. It’s easy to top up and if you come up short there’s another machine before the exit that you can go too.

I only ever put ₩10,000 on mine and just put more on it when I need it because it’s easy to do and if the card gets lost somehow then I’m not out a ton of money. All my friends do the same thing.

I would say about 50,000￦ if you plan to stay in one place, take a taxi a few times and/or visit a few places per day. One card per person.

Let's think you will use bus or metro 4 times a day(it would be minimum I guess since you will travel) You will end up spending 4,800 KRW. At least you will need 67,200 KRW in your card (I just multiplied). I recommend you to buy key chain type T money so that you can connect it on your phone or bag.

My university gave us a school id looking tmoney card and it was boring and ugly lmao my second to last week in korea i finally found some cool and cute tmoney cards lol i feel jipped but whatever it still got me places.
