Tõnis Mägi "Koit" / Laulupidu 2014

XXVI laulupeo I kontserdil nõudsid lauljad Tõnis Mägi "Koidu" kordamisele tulemist.
Pärast "Koidu" esitamist hüüdsid lauljad autorit, mis peale Tõnis Mägi lauljate ette ilmus. Seejärel nõuti laulu kordamisele tulemist, mille toimumisel ka Tõnis Mägi ise mikrofoni haaras ja kaasa laulma hakkas.

I discovered this wonderful country 3 years ago and came back to experience the Song Festival these past 2 days. It was pure magic! I spent 48 hrs with goosebumps, and now listening to Koit I have tears streaming down my face. Here's to your dawn you lovely people! See you in 2019!!! XXX

You are not alone my friend, this country does something with you, when you come under its magic you become an estonian; I am german originally and I followed the path to the woman of my heart there and I lived there in 2016 and since I cant free myself anymore, even our love band may be broken...you become estonian with skin and hair and you will fight for this country until your last breathe.

I'm not taking away anything from your notion or from Estonia, but usually it's the small nations that are most cohesive and solidary, whereas large countries tend to become fragmented and divided. It's just natural in a way. Still, estonians stay remarkably true to their roots and traditional values; much more than many other nations and I sincerely respect that. Love and blessings from the northern shore of Baltic!

they just dont getting it...this was the reason why we regained our freedom, without violence but just singing , thats why I alwsy feel soo bad for people killed in Tinanmen square, that was the time of awakening but in Chinese peoples case, vicious regime won

Laulukaare alt vaadates oli see kõik veel võimsam kui telepilt edasi anda suudab -- inimesed tõusevad püsti, õhtuhämaruses süttivad tulukesed, ja lõpuks Mäks ise laulmas. See laulupidu jääb veel kauaks meelde.

Хочется надеяться, что у вас через 5 лет гораздо улучшиться жизнь и вы сможете приехать в 2024 году на следующий Праздник в качестве добрых гостей и вам будут рады. Meenub 2008. aastal toimunud öölaulupidu, kus Tõnis Mägi laulis "Koitu" kaks korda järjest, öösel kell 3. See oli võimas ja ületamatu tunne seal olla.

The number of singers is actually 22,000, whereas the number of all people on the Singing grounds should be near 100,000. By the time the first day's concert began, the total number of people on the Singing grounds was well over 90,000 (I've kept thinking that this was just the admissions, but alas); there were also late-comers.

Happy celebration! I missed this despite the fact that I was in Tallinn at that moment. Liberty for Estonian for life! Look at what is takes to be free at 7:06, she was so engulfed in emotions. Umbes 20 aastat tagasi (täpset aastat kahjuks ei mäleta) kui sai ka laulupeol käidud, korrati seda laulu ka mitu korda, see oli nii võimas. Selle laulu saatel läksime laulukaare alla :P See oli nii nii vôimas ja seda tunnet ei unusta vist mitte kunagi.

Hea universaalse harmooniaga laul. Nutikalt kombineeritud (komponeeritud)! Sama harmoonia peale võib laulda Arndt Bause laulu "Päev ja päev" mis algab sõnadega "Kui istutad puu.." Kui lisad Ravel`i boolero rütmi saadki ülipiduliku isamaalise loo.

Just 5 minutit enne lalu algust lahkusime laulupeolt arvates et Koit laul tuleb palju hiljem aga kell oli juba 11 ohtul ja olime nii v2sinud. Kuulsin Koidu laulu just v2rava ragant ranna 22res ..... nii tahtsin n2ha ja kaasa laulda...8hhhh. 2019 uus proov!!
