தாய்லாந்து தமிழ் சங்கம் சார்பில் அக்டோபர் 30, 2022 அன்று தாய்லாந்து நாட்டின் தலைநகர், பாங்காக்கில் தீபாவளிக்கொண்டாட்டம் நடைபெற்றது. இதில் பல மாகாணங்களில் இருந்து, கிட்டத்தட்ட 500 தமிழ் உறவுகள் கலந்து கொண்டு சிறப்பித்தனர். உள்ளூர் சிறப்பு ஆடல் பாடல் கலை நிகழ்ச்சிகளுடன் களைகட்டிய விழா, தமிழ் நாட்டிலிருந்து வந்த நகைச்சுவைக் கலைஞர்கள் மதுரை முத்து மற்றும் அன்னபாரதி இருவராலும் இன்னும் கலகலப்பானது. இருவருடனும், குழந்தைகள் முதல் பெரியவர் வரை கலந்துரையாடி, சிரிப்பலைகள் பரவி, விழா அரங்கமே சிரிப்பரங்கமாக மாறியது.
அறுசுவை உணவு மற்றும் சிற்றுண்டிகளுடன் வயிறு நிறைந்தது மட்டுமன்றி இனிய சந்திப்பு மற்றும் நண்பர்களுடன் அளவளாவிக் கொண்டு இருந்ததில்,அனைவர் மனதும் நிறைந்தது. நேரம் போவதே தெரியாமல், "இன்னும் கொஞ்ச நேரம் இருந்தால் தான் என்ன?" என்று மனதுக்குள் ஏக்கத்துடன், கூடி புகைப்படம் எடுத்து இறுதியில் விடை பெற்றுச் சென்றனர் !

Thailand Tamil Sangam organized a celebration of Deepavali, "Festival of lights" on 30th Oct 2022 at Rembrandt Hotel & Suites, Bangkok.
Ever since the Covid pandemic started, celebrations have only taken place online or were only possible with a limited number of people - but this year, we were excited to have a full-scale event, with nearly 500 people flooding in from various provinces of Thailand.
The chief guest, Mr.Ashwin M. Kotnis , Counsellor from Indian Embassy,Thailand kicked off the celebration by lighting the "Kuthuvilakku" (Standing brass Lamp). Representatives from Thailand Tamil Muslim Association, Thailand Malayala Samajam, Thailand Kannada Baliga and Thailand Telugu Association also graced the event with their participation.
Everyone enjoyed several spectacular dance performances by the children of our Tamil community, followed by lively renderings of Tamil songs which really put everyone in a festive mood.
Our entertainers from Tamilnadu, Comedians Madurai Muthu and Anna Bharathi ramped up the event by entertaining and amusing us with their hilarious performance.
Most agreed that a significant part of celebrating Deepavali is the delicious food - which is why the food served at the event was something not to be missed! The buffet was filled with mouth-watering dishes, which left everyone satisfied!
