Whenever you melt plastic, be sure you are in a well ventilated area! Especially if it’s plastic that’s not made to be melted, and you need multiple layers. Toxic fumes can affect your brains and your lungs, who knows what else? Putting CDs in hot water and using straight cuts, good technique Matteo! I think my favorites are the painted metal screws, washers and assorted hardware! But spray those with a skin safe clear fixative to avoid skin rashes!

Matt, I'm beginning to think you will make jewelry out of anything!!!! But definitely some interesting ideas. Almost like taking broken jewelry pieces and turning them into something new :D

These are so cool Matt - the super colourful small strips of colour baked in the oven are brilliant. Yeh CDs are a bugger to cut but youve done a great hob - microwaving is NOT smart - awesome light show, wrecked Microwave lol Planets are awesome id wear them. Wall plugs are groovy, i didnt give those a thought....

Dig the melted plastic ones...you could try laying out the small stuff first and put your back sheet on with a heavy washer to keep the curl down.😏

Melted looks great as earrings.... I wonder how they feel though with the sticky outy edges? I ask only because I am seriously not great with weird sensory things and the constant poking would have me driven more mental than I am already. They look cool, but I reckon Id put some of that leather behind and stick it on, having it just come out a few mm past the edges from the plastic. But I think Im going to have to try that when I have a non outside day cos its totally bad weather and body functioning, and I have a support worker for the day. I might just cut stuff up and plan it out, put in a couple of bags for each item - then its ready :D Like one of your other videos says - be prepared. :D
