The T. Rex look really nice but depending on how much weathering probably won’t make a big difference. Looking forward to your final thoughts

Very true. After I got the kit finished (more videos to come!) there isn't any noticable difference unless one gets very close.

Have you tried Tankraft tracks? idk if they have Jagdtiger, but their Tiger I tracks are excellent.

I have not. Is there a place in the States that carry them?

Awesome video Brett 👍sorry nothing on T-rex or 3D printed tracks, I'm like a bull in a China shop I've broken so much 3D stuff that I'm gun shy. Very fragile. Either way I've built the friulmodel track version of the Porsche jagdtiger had a video somewhere. But I had a question. On the T-rex, I see it came with one run of guide horns removed. My Dragon tracks had two set of guide horns did you have to cut the one side of horns off the Dragon set? I had to remove the horns from my friulmodel tracks. It was fine the Germans had to cut the horns off for real. So I made sure I had that detail. Anyway REALLY looking forward to your next update. God bless

Both of my tracks, the T-Rex and kit tracks, only has one row of guidehorns. As for the fragility of the 3D stuff... true dat! I really prefer metal myself, with Masterclub being my favorite. But, sometimes one has to take what is available!

I understand the desire for authenticity, but this just seems to be bordering on madness. But hey, that’s just me.

Agreed! That’s why I don’t do it very often. As a matter of fact these days it’s getting more and more out of the box only when I build things.

Thank you for the very helpful video. But this is just too tedious for me. Even link and length tracks are too much. I'm totally happy with the "lowly" vinyl tracks. I'm a modeler after all and I can make vinyl tracks look realistic. Anyway, just my 2 cents.

Thanks. And I agree. I've gotten to the point where I don't like indy tracks either. At least some of them. 3D printed stuff seems to be the flavor of the week, but they are way too fidely and fragile for my taste. I'm going out on a limb here and gonna say resin stuff is over rated. Most of the time nowadays I use the kit tracks as long as they are on a more modern kit and look halfway decent for live track vehicles. Like Shermans. For sag track I'll use link and length or indy tracks, but even those have to be certain brands. As for making vivyl tracks sag, I did that just last year on a kit. With a little effort it can be pulled off nicely. You know... basic modelling skills! LAL.
