T.S.O.L is one of the greatest bands from the whole Hardcore Era,Black Flag,The Bad Brains,The Circle Jerks,Minor Threat and others always get more due and with good reason,but T.S.O.L along with Husker Du,The Minutemen and The Effigies were always pushing the parameters of what Punk should be,also I met Jack Grisham back in 1999 when T.S.O.L came and played the Aztlan Theatre in Denver,and he came outside of the Theatre and did an impromptu meet and greet and he was a really cool dude,memories!

actually i wouldn't consider him a nihilist. Because he ONLY cares about his family, friends and community, that doesn't necessarily qualify him as a nihilist. Nihilism is a philosophical idea that humans have no purpose and therefore there is no point to action. Jack is, however, against the mainstream entertainment business because they sacrifice quality for profit and he is stating that he would rather maintain his integrity than sell out his music.

there is nothing wrong with a REAL conservative. Pat Buchanan is pretty close to a real conservative and he's anti-war, anti-nation building, pro bill of rights, etc. I think you're trying to say jack is a neo-con but that's just a subset of the pub party and they tend to be marxo-fascists and war mongers. Jack doesn't come off that way at all in his interviews. He's more like an center right independent or libertarian. And like everyone i'm sure he's pretty liberal on some issues.

This guy contradicts himself constantly. Which is okay. But, don`t open your mouth about it if you are gonna be that way. The guy has grown to be a consevative and may not realize it or is in denial. Again, nothing wrong with it but the guy wears two hats.
