Ron Emory is probably my biggest guitar influence . absolutely love his style. His playing on Dance With Me and Change Today is still like nothing else out there.I like Tim Kerr and Stevie T's guitar work too among hundreds of others but Ron is my favorite.thanks Ron and T.S.O.L for the great music.

There's nothing that sounds like a Gretsch. Wonderful instruments.

Respect. I never woulda thought I'd see TSOL killin it in 2021 still looking healthy. Ron- glad your still killing it bro. And yes nothing like a Gretchen, especially the old ones but hey they aren't as roadworthy as these new ones. Much love

Way back in 2003 or 2004 I came across a lefty Gretch at a guitar center, it was a thin hollow body (don’t remember the name of the model). But damn did it sound freakin amazing, to this day way better than anything else I’ve played. They definitely have such a unique badass sound about them.

Great video! Thanks for sharing that with us. I'm a Gretsch fan, too. I believe that every serious American guitarist need to own at least one Gretsch, a Fender, and a Gibson.

i own as just recently a pro jet limited edition electromatic i did a half assed demo on my channel here on YT i love that guitar, you can play blues, jazz rock heavy rock metal all on it, i realize it is one of the lower end ones price wise but man it feels so damned smooth in my hands, if you do not have one or have not tried one go and do so!

Nobody bends a note like Ron Emory. Listen to those bends on Joykiller 1, then try to find them on Static and Three (both great records). Absolutely inimitable. Old Huntington had lots of great bands before the fascists ate our music, but none of them sound like Main St. sonic violence the way Ron Emory does.
