As promised in my first video, How to Cut Up the Back of your T-shirt, here's a step by step tutorial to show you exactly how to weave!
I learned this from watching Adam Saaks. Look him up if you don't know him. He's like the god of t-shirt cutting.
Part 1 is the basic weave, some people call it the tornado weave.
Part 2 I call it the twisting weave because I have no idea what it's called. I saw Adam Saaks doing it, and I assume this is what he was doing, he does it so fast it's hard to tell haha.
I hope this clarifies how to weave!!
Just remember UNDER/OVER
or UNDER, OVER, TWIST.

oh my god, i've seen a ton of tutorials on weaving and this is by far the best i've ever seen lol. usually you cant see what the hell the people are doing with what strings because they like to pick a black shirt or the camera is at weird angle or too far away. but i love how clean and simple your drawings are :). every step is shown and explained thoroughly :D. thank you so much!

Thank you so much! This is exactly what I was looking forward--something straight forward and to the point. With these two weaves I feel I can make most designs I've seen. Much better tutorial than ones teaching a specific design.

you seriously changed my wardrobe!!! i have literally 30 band tshirts and i love the designs but they were so boring to wear because they had no shape in their cut. now that ive cut them, they're soooo much more fun to wear!!!! thank you!

salina you've just helped me discovered a whole new world! hahaha. I wanted to copy the kind of designs I see on a girl who appears in a TV show and I found your videos and now I can do much more things than her! I've just seen two of them, but I'm sure I'm gonna spend the whole afternoon watching them, learning, and then practicing with my old shirts. Now I'm gonna wear the most original shirt in my university, hahaha, thank you so much!

@Riani83 Hmm do you tie it the same way I show in the video? If the strings are relatively thin, and you just do a simple knot, it shouldn't be that noticeable.
