This is the video that was made when Gerry Cottle (Circus) bought 4 major rides from T. Smith and Sons (Leighton Buzzard) way back in 1992.
The rides include: Dodgems, Ark, Skid and Octopus.
Also the ride transport was also sold.

The Dodgems are now in Sri Lanka.
The Ark(A163) is now owned by Tom Mayhew.
The Skid(S80) and Octopus(OC52) are owned by the Carter Family

That famous artwork is what got me hooked on the travelling fairs. just the sight of wallis's maroon 8 leggers thundering up the a41 towards my local grounds (EASTHAM WIRRAL) got me going crazy ha, I remember those days well I'd be at the fair from 9AM to 9PM every day the bollockings i got off my old man were well worth it, its FAIR to say I got my monies worth out of that funfair. Thanks for the movie its really appreciated.

Worked with travelling funfairs casual and full-time for over 15 years in the late 60s and 70s that’s when travelling funfairs were proper not these rubbishy travelling theme parks that’s all is these days the music they play the stuff they have all down to theme parks, definitely not the same American theme, parks rubbish
