How's Keizo health on this day. Sad to see his left hand still seemingly immobile since he suffered & recovered from cerebral hemorrhage.

Russ Freeman, the one from The Rippingtons?
@drat91912 жыл бұрын
Yep, he collaborated with T-Square back around the '90 timeframe, the "Natural" album that was released in the USA.

@@drat9191 And funny thing is despite Andoh now left T-Square. Their latest album "Wish" was very good and also linked me a lot of 90s Jazz stuff that I miss like Kilauea, Pocket Change, Dan Siegel. And Andoh still active and very creatively. But Russ Freeman and Rippingtons music now totally running out of steam. Actually declining since "Modern Art" album.

Without Izumi-san, the piano seems a bit souless..

I don't think so. Every pianist/keyboardist in T-Square from past to present have their different style. You can enjoyed all of them :) Junko Miyagi, T-Square first pianist. Also released a very good album called "For Better Life" in this year. Worth to listen :)

@@kidwaryodproduction I agree on that part, fam. But surely Izumi-san is the best pianist and songwriter of T-Square. Kawano-kun also a great pianist and synth, but he's not on Izumi-san level.

@@fiandoperdana8385 To be honest, No disrespect to Izumi. But I don't like T-Square during 90s era (Til Blue In Red album) because T-Square became very too aggressive sound (Like Dimension) and Izumi in 90s seemingly hated synthesiser solo (Well, Even in 80s he's always making face like he's climbing mountain everest when solo synth) Just only Piano/E.Piano (There's no more synthesiser solo, Synth part became only background) Compared to 90s Casiopea, They went more jazz-rock but at least Minoru Mukaiya was more flexible on both piano and synth. But there's no deny that Izumi piano in 80s era was the best thing ever.
