T.T.S. #4: DUBAI & ABU DHABI (DAY 5 AND 6) / CHUVA LYN
On Day 5, we woke up really early so that we could spend the whole day exploring the largest mall in the world, Dubai Mall! It was only a 10 to 15 minute walk from our hotel so we had our morning exercise too. When we got there, there very few people still, I guess everybody slept late due to the celebration and fireworks last night.
The mall was so huge and had so many shops and attractions! You needed more than a day to explore every nook and cranny. But we did our best haha. We also had lunch at Shake Shack :)
In the evening, we were invited by our friends, Dr. Najla and Abdalla Alnaqbi (from Abu Dhabi) to see a very popular Dubai destination, The Global Village. When we got there, it was obvious why everyone wanted to go there. The place was massive and offered so many things. It's like travelling all over the world but only in one place!
We thank you Najla and Abdalla for bringing us there and spending your precious time with us! It was a really unique experience for us. We also appreciate the dinner and gifts you gave us. And most specially for bringing us home that night, even if you had to drive back to Abu Dhabi to go home. Thank you so much :)
On Day 6, which was our last day, we thought of visiting Dubai Ikea. We still do not have an Ikea in Manila (but hopefully next year!). Like everything in Dubai, the place was massive!
And then we went to the airport....
