Hey y’all! My name is Ashley, and I am a teacher in North Texas. I teach 4th grade, and I love to express my creativity digitally. I began sharing technology tips through social media such as TikTok and Instagram. I started this channel as a way to show in-depth tutorials for certain technology tips that require more explanation. Thank you for your generosity of time and talent! I moved from a Google Classroom district to a Canvas one and felt the same overwhelming frustration! Although our district sets the requirements for the home page and navigation, your tips have inspired me to liven up my course within those restrictions. I learned so much in this brief time! 🖥💕

My district is asking us to learn and use Canvas but the online training for it soooo boring and unappealing. Canvas seemed too sophisticated and not engaging for elementary but now that I see your video I have hope for my 3rd graders using it. Thank you!!

Thank you! Our school is moving from Moodle to Canva. After going through some training this, I was amazed at how simplified things can be with Canvas, but the artist in me is kind of disappointed with how Canvas can limit my creativity. You're such a lifesaver!

Not certain about the points made but ,if anyone else wants to learn about best self help programs try Magic Progress Shortcut (do a google search ) ? Ive heard some incredible things about it and my colleague got amazing results with it.

Now that I've watched the whole video, I have 1 question. If I disable a section from Navigation, can I still hyperlink to that section from a button on the homepage? Or is it completely disabled and inaccessible altogether? Thanks!

@@brittanyspears1075 if there is something published. Then they will be able to see things within the section. I make pages, and still link to them even though pages are disabled.

I teach for Clark County in Nevada. I believe you taught how to set up Google classroom a while back. Your videos are clear to understand without all the unnecessary jargon and rhetoric. Keep up the good work. So many how to videos are for show only and are whack! I like clear concise and direct teaching. As teachers, its a shame so many teachers are making how to videos and don't know how to teach directly and to the point.
