Except for all the nasty graffiti. And not just Athens. Why is there so much graffiti all over European cities? I live in Los Angeles and I rarely see graffiti, usually only in Skid Row, but the rest of the city is relatively clean. This is so annoying and disappointing. European cities are in every way nicer, but the graffiti ruins them. It's even on older classical buildings. Why is that allowed?

Great video! We were in Athens 7 weeks ago and walked each and every step you did. Recognized it all! The Army Museum, Lykavetos, even the nail studio at the end where my wife had her nails done for half the price of here. Thanks.

Even though it has almost no classical architecture buildings and most probably the most urban vibe of all the european capitals, Athens is for me second to none (or maybe only second to Rome). The vibe of this amazing city is spectacular. So much history and ancient sites, outstanding food and bar scene, great weather, lovely people and a unique feeling o chaos mixed with relaxation. Have been many times to Athens but its been 3 years now and I miss it sooooo much.
