FIELD TEST
Is it even possible to charge two deep cycle batteries in series from the T2 with only 6 watts of input to operate the T2 while charging simultaneously? Find out.

Well done, but what is the average charge current into the batteries at 6 Watts input ? I still dont see with your video tests, why your machine should be better than a solid state Joulethief or Bedini circuit charger ...? Is your T2 also pulsing the batteries like a Bedini or did you rectify the output to DC current ? Regards, Stefan.

Can you please provide info on amps out. A lot of the other figures you give have little value without more to the equation. So if you are going to show volt out, please also show amp out with that volt out.

what about encasing the moving parts in a perspex box and pulling a vacuum, would you get more efficiency? overheating issues?

Hi . I really do not know anything about your device but its well put together . I saw that it can run off of a 9 volt battery and can it run on a battery from a cordless drill plus charge one to. Can it charge the batteries of an electric car while you use it also . I would like to thank you for stepping up to the plate to help . I'm from a small town in West Virginia

beautiful piece of mechanical engineering... but I guess I am lost as to what the idea here is.... charging batteries? I don't quite understand why introduce mechanical losses into a charging circuit? an electronic mppt dc-to-dc converter surely would have significantly less losses.

Hey love the videos I'm hooked! It's a little over my head, it's great you mentioned that it's drawing 6 watts and the out put is 24th that's so sweet! If someone in the know could tell me if you had this machine in a eV running on lead acid battery's, with a solar panel roof of around 15 watts. Would this be a effective set up??? Can you drive and charge the battery at the same time??? I definitely want one of these machines one day. Thanks for being awesome. You totally have a voice for TV or radio it's easy listening to you.

Did you think about monitoring the current being used to charge the batteries? You have already worked out you have nominally 6w watts input, if you can establish the current OUTPUT you can then see how much power is lost in the conversion. Eg: 25v out at 100ma would give an output power of 2.5 watts - and a suggest overall efficiency of a little under 50% (not too bad for a rotary converter) The machine LOOKS amazing, but if you monitor the output current as well as the voltafe, we could see how well it WORKS as well as how good is LOOKS!

Always - enjoy watching your uploaded videos! Questions from a newbie; is that a generator, or, a energy-conversion thingy? One more here; does it need a power source to run? Maybe i should re-view all the v-clips for the sake of it all. Althought sincerely,is it a generator?

So does this device charge a battery quicker than just a solar panel by its self?

this device doesnt charge anything without a power source... atleast not for long. friction will slow it down at some point. a machine cant generate enough power for itself (or even generate output...). ppl here jsut dont have any understanding of physics i cant understand how this guy can have 60k subs guess they are all flatearthers and believe every shit they see online

This is easily possible. Replace the (2) 12 volt batteries with (2) 12 volt banks of 650f 2.7v caps. Start with caps at 50-99% of rated voltage. Measure the voltage drop over 120 seconds or so. Then do the math. If the caps collect close to 6 watts over the given timeframe then your efficiency will be looking good.

oops, my last comment should have read......measure the voltage "gain" not drop, to quantify the" battery" charging capability.

Christopher Powers Thanks for the clarification. It just didn't make sense to measure a voltage drop. That would be a disappointment. I'll try to gather up enough UC's to do a fairly easy test like this. Thanks again.

PMMG4HYBRID Thank you as well, and look forward to seeing how future tests work out. I have found the drift on the larger caps (650f) to be minimal. Then if time is measured fairly accurately, the degree of uncertainty is relatively small.

That's doing a great job with 6 watts solar panel. I am curios as to the charge voltage after it has settled from charging it as well, it makes a lot of difference because of the float voltage. Also, how much solar panel wattage would be needed to generate at least 1 amp ( avg. ) drive using your T2 charger ... hmmm that would be a nice benchmark.

Since it takes such a little energy/watts to charge the batteries. Why not power the motor from the batteries and show see if it can charge them at the same time. If it can do that that will be a real winner.

Hi, I have followed your progress on this device since the beginning and I find it very interesting. Although I must admit that at present I don't completely understand what the advantage of this machine is over a normal solar charger. At least in this application. Can you enlighten me? Thanks, and great work!

You could, But the Tesla will not charge while in operation. It would charge if you stop and shut the car down. Of course you would most likely void your warranty on the car.

You should improve your videos, a lot of people did not understand what the machine or this is is all about. I had my difficulties too. For example you can Name the thig like "Its a device which acts as an "Energy amplifier". Second is i am not really convinced what is achieved here, you should be more clear. I see a chinese stepper up Converter on your machine which could do the Charging alone. So for example say : i run this test for 60 minutes, the batteries got loaded with 50Watthours so the Energy gain is 6Watth - 50wh = 44 Wh (replayce numbers with your own). That would be ultra clear, but instead you dont name the important numbers. You know what the Machine does, the viewer does not.

Hyper Hektor the first split second the charger is turned on is when the charge is most efficient . So think about if it were pulsed on and off 100 or 500 or more times a second, the batteries should charge extremely quick.

Are both batteries 100amp-hr each?
@uroxsmysox
@uroxsmysox 10 жыл бұрын
nvm I rewatched it and you mentioned 105amp-hr batteries. The clock shows 4:05pm at 25.43v, then ended at 4:40p.m at 25.47v. A difference of 0.04 v in 35 mins. Roughly 0.0686v per hour. Assuming two 12v deep cycle battery in series at full capacity is 25.6v (assuming 12.8v max/each). So if you discharged it to 75% capacity (25.2v) and recharged it, it should take about 5.83 hours (25.6 - 25.2 v = 0.40v; 0.40/0.0686 = 5.83 hours) to fully charge....if i'm not mistaken.
@uroxsmysox
@uroxsmysox 10 жыл бұрын
Thien Nguyen If that's correct then... the equivalent of this system is.... 5.83 hour * assuming 15% solar/inverter loss efficiency = 6.70 hours. 25% of 105amp-hr battery is about 26.25 amp-hr. So to charge 26.25 amp-hr in 6.70 hours, it'd take about 3.918 amp of input. Assuming the voltage is 27.2v at 3.918 amps, the equivalent system would be a 106.57 watt solar panel. Only pro I see is that the t2 keeps on running after the sun is down. Also If your input is only 6 watts, then that's an efficiency of 17.76...which is pretty ridiculous. But if your planning to feed it back into the the grid, 106.57 watts running a full day = 2.55768 kwh/day or 76.73 kwh/month. Assuming electricity rate is 11 cents per kwh, you'd save like $8.44 a month lol. And assuming (if possible, probably not) you pulse charge lithium battery bank....charging a tesla 85kwh battery from a 50% soc, it'd take roughly 17 days.
