A better option is the GoWesty 2.3 long block. They have worked all the common issues out of the 1.9 and 2.1.

Is there a part 2? I think the 2.0lt motor may be a little anaemic for a T3 syncro. More power but not so much torque. Very interested to see how it goes.

Back in 06 i fitted a Subaru SVX engine in my T25 Doka smiles per miles!

Is the new engine compatible with the old engine bay brackets and mounting points or did you need to fabricate new ones?
