I love that you're into these things, such a pure fun toy. And you're spot on with the construction, not close to the original bots. My kids have put those through the fucking ringer with only paint wear to show, these.... we'll see but they will probably break. Love the automorphism though and heatwave has a great head sculpt.

You know, when I hear about the plastic quality of their toys, it makes me want to punch Hasbro's lights out. How far, I wonder, will they go about scaling down their TF's or making them more cheap before they scale themselves out of business?

While I can understand the need to cheapen plastic to save costs and such I really feel that on something like rescue bots it's a BIG mistake. I mean these are toys that are expected to go to REAL young kids that are prone to throwing, dropping, pulling apart, twisting, etc the toys. As kids I'm sure we all had toys we broke because we were too dumb to play with them. So to make it out of plastic that feels like it might become pretty jagged if broken seems like a huge mistake to me!
