i do agree with cactus being on 10 but one thing i dont understand in general in pvz. Why the fuck does reg cactus doesnt have damage drop off but elemental ones like fire cactus do??? like wouldnt it be enough to decreas the damage in general on those ones? This game is such an interesting case because nearly every goddamn character has the potential to go crazy. It's just a matter of how you use them. One takeaway I've come to regarding BFN, especially around when it first released to the public, was that the characters felt weak. To me, I feel like that's what hindered it a bit. Of course there were a plethora of others reasons for its failure in the long-run, but I've never thought about it that way. It's just way more satisfying making every character feel good to play rather than hindering everyone's capability for a more defense-focused game (also, actually having classes - AKA, being a actual Garden Warfare game - would've been nice)

personally i love electric sunflower because its probably the best crowd control for sunflowers at least that i know of it got good reload time and decent damage its probably my second or first favorite only other flower i sometimes prefer is vampire flower

My top 10: (i didn't watched the video yet) 10: Nec' Rose Her shoot charges very fast, and that jinx she does to enemies is so good, 'cuz it takes off their defense, such as Z-Mech, explosive barrel etc. 9: Yeti Chomper Let's forget he's a Chomper. Here goes 3 reasons of why i love him and he's the best Chomper: he's a long-ranged character, but his primary has infinity ammo and will never overheat, he's an ice Chomper, so you can freeze someone and swallow him, and his attack does an arch instead of going straight, so you can attack someone behind walls while protecting yourself. 8: Zen Cactus His attacks getting stronger by each shot is just amazing. He is good in short distance, and he's a Cactus, so he's a sniper, he can stay on the most ridiculous spot the whole game and strike terror into zombies, and with damages getting stronger and stronger... Zen Cactus is definitely the best Cactus (Future and Petrified are debatable) 7: Vampire Flower She's almost immortal, 'cuz while someone is attacking you, you're also attacking him and getting life, this is amazing. But she's like a vampire fr, she needs to suck blood the whole time, or else she'll die, like a vampire, so you must equip a reload and a ammo upgrade. 6: Electro Pea I don't think i need to explain anything. If i need to explain anything, I'll edit this comment. 5: Party Corn He's like the regular Kernel Corn (which is very good already), but slightly stronger, and in Party Time! he becomes even stronger. 4: Party Citron Same thing of Party Corn, he's like regular Citron, which is very good, but slightly stronger and he has Party Time! which makes him even stronger. Honorable mentions: Agent Pea Mystic Flower Future Cactus Twilight Chomper Law Pea 🥉: Commando Corn He does an very high damage per shot, he's very good both long distance and short distance, and on Full Commando he gets more than twice times more ammo, which allows him to shoot a lot more before reloading, and the damage is so good, like, if you do everything correctly, he can kill an Disco Zombie before even needing to reload. 🥈: Iron Citron At first, he might look bad, since he only have 1 ammo, and the damage is not that good to compensate, but his reload is fast, he is a Citron, so he can become a ball to flee when need, and in Iron Mode he becames a 50 damage machine gun, and with 2 reload upgrades he reloads almost instantly. 🥇: Torchwood He's just a bit overrated, but he is very powerful, he has a lot of life, he deals so many damage, his abilities are so good, he's just incredible, nothing to complain. If Torchwood doesn't count, i would put Agent Pea as rank 10.

Nobody talks about Petrified Cactus because of the horrendously slow projectile speed. It's basically useless at range, where cactus usually dominates, because they can simply move out of the way of the projectiles, only taking 8-10 damage from the explosion. (The damage falloff on the explosion is very dramatic. I tested the character and the very minimum damage possible is about 3 meters away at 2.)

Even without the damage upgrade future cactus is still OP!
