Special thanks to Mr. Vili Ieru of Vision CD & Video World, New Zealand, Director of the "Toe fo'i Tama i Savai'i". A Samoa Movie about a young man (Vili) from Savaii who married a girl (Elenor) from Upolu who realized how tough it is to become a faiava, especially handling Eleanor's Mom (Faafeai).
In the Samoan way of saying when a male is married and stays with wife's family. Wife's family calls him a "Faiava". The females are called "Nofo Tane" by the males family when married and stays with males family.

Its really nice to actually hear his voice without so much autotune. I knew he had a beautiful voice, but its a nice change hearing it naturally. Very nice song too.

I’m really behind with all my Samoan jams! I don’t think this is a Samoan version of My Eyes Adored You? I got to say this is a beautifully written song. The words strikes me in the ❤️, but it really gets me because of my loved ones gone. This song relates to a man & woman relationship but it also touched me in a way of losing a loved one that makes me yearn for them wanting to see & be with them.
