Tabie! You need rubber weather stripping around the edge of your main door to your camper! When you woke up and reached for the door I saw a good amount of light from outside around the door. Would help a lot when it’s this cold out!! You’re losing a lot of heat! Love you!

This video is old and I'm sure someone else mentioned it but you can use a lighter or the flame from the kittie to light your heater when the spark doesn't work. Just turn the gas up and light away. Enjoy the traveling life!

It's important to check your equipment (gas heater) to make sure it works (or maybe bring a backup heater) when going into very low-temperature conditions. Please take precautions. I do enjoy watching your stories. Simple and heartwarming.

初めての極寒キャンプで準備不足って感じでしたね。窓が隠されていないと冷気が強いので注意ですし、入り口は少し隙間が有るように見受けられます。暖の取り方は事前にしっかりと確認を！冬キャンは甘くないので、今回は良い経験でしたね。

Oh my gosh, Tabie-ie, you are so brave! I think the snowy scenery is beautiful but there is no way I would camp in that weather🌡️ I was happy to see you warmed by your breakfast. I was honestly hoping you would change your mind and go back down the mountain lol. Thank you for sharing another peaceful video. Please, if you're going to camp in that cold weather, get yourself some hand warmers and body warmers, and wool socks and a hoodie that drapes over your neck.

Another soothing video. I especially like the change of background music 🎶. When it's cold and you have trouble starting your little stove, try putting your hand over the lighting mechanism and warming it up for a few minutes before clicking the starter. That has always worked for me. 👍

If your heater won’t light, you need to put the gas bottle in your sleeping bag with you. Butane needs to be above 0c to work.. Stay safe 👍🏻

Too cold can cause a lot of inconveniences but still better than the heat I'm facing now 🤣 Love your sukiyaki, I had yakiniku for lunch today with chocolate matcha, was really delicious! Ohio Tabie--- here are a few camping tips for cold weather. At the Onsen take a large thermos of very hot drink water. You might pre cook some ramen or oatmeal for the next morning meals also. Onsens all provide hot clean water for tea ramen to go . Take some hot water as a head start for dinner. Cover your windshield and scrape less ice in the morning. Use the Jackery storage source to power an overnight OIL STICK TANK HEATER for the truck. It helps keep the fluids WARM for turnover in frozen morning

Keep your gas canisters/lighters in the cab while you're driving to your destination. They'll be kept warm and will function when you need them upon arrival. Also, put the heating canister in your sleeping bag or under your pillow while you sleep. Your body heat will keep the gas warm enough to function when you wake up. Don't take chances with the cold, please! And always have a backup plan.

For extra canisters trying keeping them in a cooler that’s insulated. Hand warmer packs to wrap around canisters with foil then blanket/towel. Careful to watch temp so they won’t burst. Keeping one some in cab works to get you started but at some point you’ll run out and need a replacement. And yes an emergency backup plan is called for. Electric blanket with small battery power source which could be recharged by truck engine? Multiple sub-zero sleeping bags?

another simple solution is to poor a small amount of water over them, especially when they're near empty, this will also heat them up.. I used to boil water (for coffee) and I'd tip a just a splash of the warm water over the canister to keep it going..

Avec des conditions aussi extrêmes c’est difficile. Soyez prudent car votre camping car n’est pas conçu pour l’hiver. Je suis vos vidéos depuis longtemps et c’est apaisant. Bonne continuation 👍😉
