Hi from England. I really enjoyed your video after stumbling upon it. I make bands when time allows but my favourites are these historically correct patterns. I was therefore delighted to share your enthusiasm for the same. I have the Applesies book and have made 3 of the patterns but i really struggle to get my cards in the correct orientation when setting up and the pattern comes out on the underside. My old brain cannot jump from what i call the normal set up method (widely found), to the way the authors do it. I wonder if you could do a video explaining how to solve this please? I love your loom and must make one for myself. I like to sit on the bed with my loom on my lap taking a rest (I'm very old) 😂 Thank you

LOVE seeing a preview of the book, I had been interested when I stumbled on it but thought it was way tooooo much for me but think I can do it. You showed a little diagram but now weaving (which I understand) - but I assume that the threading and slant of tablets is given and wouldn't sent a beginner over the edge doing a simple one to start. AND would these translate into cotton yarn? (I know, I could spin my own worsted (spin style) but would rather work with cotton when learning. Thanks.
