My son is a wounded vet. Before he was hurt, he was a hard core Warhammer player. He introduced me to Warhammer and we listen to stories and talk about it because he remembers it clearly from before he was blinded. At first I "played" Warhammer with him as a way to be with him and do something he loved. But soon I fell in love with it. He's going to get me a 3D printer and I am going to learn to paint these amazing miniatures. I am very happy to find your channel. I have watched a lot of others and yours is truly one of the best to help us newbies learn. I will be following your tutorials when I get started with my own miniatures. I am learning a lot from you. Thank you!

Hey man. So I want to start off by saying that I have searched around for videos on how to start painting figures as well as add different touches. Although there are many other bigger channels out there, your channel honestly has put me at ease when researching and painting. I can follow you step by step as well as see what I need to do and how to paint. You have really broken through to newer collectors as myself. Thank you for making these videos , I really do enjoy them and you can count me as a permanent subscriber and a community member of this channel. I typically edge highlight with a dry brush and an unthinned paint. I do make sure I don't have too much paint on my brush so if that counts as thinning then I do thin my paint, but I use a dry brush. If you're very stable and accurate your lines come out incredibly smooth and bright. This might be a difficult technique but its really nice looking.

Don’t worry about mistakes. Your gonna make em. Take extra time with the initial grid. You can paint t over lines that don’t work. I did. And then take your time when neatening up. I spent a good 20 minutes or so just tidying up this squares going back and forth between colours. Good luck with your next project. If your feeling apprehensive, write down all the steps and create your own guide. It helps me but I know I don’t have to be strict with it and change my mind as I go along.

Meh as i have realised all the pre layer highlights are now gone from all of the back and forth and im now finishing it off. You make it look so very easy and your really good and breaking things down. Have you recently had a mini that didnt go your way? Or have you mastered this section of the hobby, because to me it seems like you have :)
