I mean, you've basically confirmed that the Astra Militarum has 100% been taken over by genestealers and are now full on embracing their tyranid masters, which is an interesting twist in the lore.

Anyone else feel reassured when the TT pros forget some rules? I know I do. I love 40k but soooooo much rules bloat. Played a game earlier in the week and zi swear we spent more time in books than rolling dice. Absolutely love your content guys! Happy to be a subscriber for all the awesome content you put out. Man I forget shit all the time. I painted up and fielded a Hammerfall Bunker and forgot to shoot with it two turns in a row, in my first game with it. It could have killed like 50 gaunts if I remembered.

I normally keep a small cheat sheet around me with what i have to do each turn, so i dont forget anything. then after a few games it because kinda muscle memory

Hey guys, love your content as always! I'd be very interested to see a mini-series of Eldar versus Chaos Space Marines. First both with their current 8th ed rules, then one when we get Codex Eldar and then one with Codex Heretics!? Be great to keep the units mostly the same and just see what difference 9th ed codexes make? Oh, and I think Ultramarines taste like imperialism, so Earl Grey tea.

Great content! Just a little rules correction- you cannot use the swarm leader WLT on exocrines for rerolls to hit, which was done at 19:15 … since they are not beast, infantry, or swarm

The intro was hilarious. Jynx barely cleared the terrain! I love the round of 7's and all the video warping! The best part is Tyranids can be considered a plague, so Nurgle likes it? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Edit* Love the side comments from Spider as you played. Kind of ominous sounding too.

My favourite crusher stampede hivetyrant has wings, adrenal glands, 2x scything talons, the negative 1 to wound relic, the warlord trait that gives you an additional negative 1 damage after the phase you took damage in, the adaptive biology where you get wounds back for killing things in melee and then the alpha leader strat to take a leviathan warlord trait and I take gestalt commander and always choose the hydra trait where at the start of your turn you roll a dice for every missing wound and on a 6 you get it back. Then I take catalyst and the horror for the get the 5+ shrug and make the enemy unit most likely to kill me negative one to hit me. It's a lot but it's durable.

Ultramarines taste like a heady combination of self righteousness and stricture, although they do request that the tyranids adhere strictly to the recipe. While not as gamey as a white scar nor as tough as a space wolf, the boys in blue are ultimately not as filling as an imperial fist.

@@DRAGONHAERT Very cool. Either Space Marines or Necrons are great. I got both and personally my favorites are the Orks. My advice is to buy the codex of an army you are interested in the lore of to see if they feel right to you. Welcome to the hobby ^_^

I'd say forget about trying to make a competitive army. Pick a faction that looks cool or whose lore you really like. Every faction has multiple sub-factions that each play differently so once you have a faction decided, you then have plenty of room to experiment and find a play style you like. I also highly recommend playing poorhammer for a while, assuming you're playing with friends. It can take weeks to build a proper army, or I can cut out hundreds of paper circles in no time. Makes experimenting so much easier.

Jinx, Love to see you growing with the Tyranids. Few Key rules you messed up. Swarm Leader Re-Rolls do NOT work on monsters... Also shadow in the warp is 18"

Nice name. But please make sure that you check the rules before you correct someone. shadow in the warp is 18''. (Synapse is normally 12'') I do agree with your swarm leader correction. Also for some reason in turn 1 Jinx is shooting the exocrine at str 8 ap -2, instead of str 7 ap -3. She is confusing it with the hive guard. (would have meant the redempter survived). I am not going to blame them cause filming and also playing a lot of armies is pretty hard, but I do feel like they can definetly get less rules wrong.

Swarm leader instead of Raging Influence or Rampaging Beast. Interesting since a flyrant will generally be quite far away from units that can take advantage of swarm leader.

I'm a fairly new player and was wondering about your take on null zone and if you have any reference to point towards. The way it's worded it suggests you remove your own invulns in the bubble too, which would be kind of stupid, but I've read that for example the german wording is actually specified to only affect enemy units. Do you know if there is a ruling on the english wording of that power?

I think Jinx was swapping the strength of the Exocrine's Bioplasmic Cannon (Str 7) and the Hive Guard's Impaler Cannons (Str 8). Just something to note for future games!
