Early in 2017, the BBC made the formal announcement that Tom Hardy's 19th-century romp Taboo would return for a second season. This meant that there would be more James Delaney, his filthy League of the Damned associates, and even more grunting. We've been waiting for five years, and nothing has happened. Thanks to FX and the BBC, partners who could not be more suited to cooperating in ground-breaking work, James Delaney will continue to explore numerous worlds as he brings his band of misfits to a new universe, its creator Steven Knight promised at the time (via RadioTimes).
