In this game, you will face the "Giant Clan" no longer the large humanoid creatures in traditional games, but various mechanical creations that require you to demonstrate stronger combat skills and courage.
On your side are all kinds of Valkyrie. Establish good relations with them and warm up feelings. They will be a strong backing for you on your adventure.
Regarding taboo trials:
A skillful Roguelike action game, it allows you to explore the world of Norse mythology and find the secrets behind the gods at dusk.
Long swords, giant axes, and spears use the weapons of the gods to confront the mechanized giant clan.
The blessing from the gods enables you to use various spells. In addition, the configuration of Berserker form and runes that can be customized and modified will determine how you end the enemy.
The bosses in many myths will bring you an unbeatable sense of oppression.
You can enhance your relationship with Valkyrie, get the blessing of Valkyrie, and take risks in the form of Valkyrie.

So is normal attacking all there is to the mechanics of this game or were ou just not using abelites in this playthrough?

I just bought this game and found out this game is an infinite loop. after 30 mins of gameplay I obtained 5 normal combos (at the start of the game you only can perform 3 combo for your normal atk) and the dmg I dealt to enemies is 65 dmg (at the beginning you will start with 11 dmg dealt to enemies) and I have more skills but I found out there are no end to this dungeon I clicked on 'give up' in the menu and it bring me back to HQ. after all the tutorial done in HQ I enter the dungeon and found out I re-start from where the beginning of the game with all of the power I obtain is gone. my 5 normal atk combo is gone. wtf? I just waste my money unrefundable after 3 hours of gameplay and wasted more than 2 hours of playing. only found out I was so disappointed in this game.

mate im not sure if you're trolling or not but this is what roguelike game means, if you ditch a run, everything you own will disappear and you will have to restart all over again, but maybe the game allows you to carry over gold or whatever the in-game currency is, to use for perma upgrade on stats of your characters etc. check how risk of rain 2 works, its a great example of a roguelike game.

Word of advice.. don't buy this game 1 - very vanilla..the experience is closer with god eater, have same (almost) character model too..the gameplay is also the same, with smaller environment and you cannot interact with environment, and sometimes camera is very shi*ty, never fought enemy at the edge of available space 2 - the combat is basic, combat is closer to code vein but basic, after some time it felt redundant 3 - the most annoying thing, this is one survival game with several level which try to apply souls mechanism but fail so hard, if you progress and die/simply give up to return to main hall, you lost everything, skills, money, progress.. 4 - NPC interaction is almost non existent, the storyline can go to dumpster
