The first guy was basically just doing what he was told. He radioed a colleague, probably someone with either more experience or seniority, who told him he had to kick the player off. Ed, on the other hand, seemed like he was either stoned or too apathetic to give a shit (classic "I've got your money, so now you're not my problem" attitude). Rick seemed like a good guy though, although he needs to train his stewards better so they understand what margins they're allowed to work with. Most sites I play at there's always a bit of wriggle room, normally +10, to allow for user error or machine fuckery.

I've had this happen at my field. Limit used to be 400 with .2s @1.49j but rentals complained that HPA hurts more, so they lowered the limit to 360 with .2s and if I chronoed 363 on one out of 15 shots and I was forced to turn my air down. What a joke.

All guns can joule creep it's not an HPA issue its just easier to manipulate with HPA because you can control the pressure output with your tank. Every field should chrono in Joules with the hop off and at least .28s

Yeah rick is one of the very few excellent staff. When i was a noob I purchased a 3d printed slide from their shop and he helped me through installing it step by step, and he didnt even know how to do it either lmao, we had to share the struggle - and he didnt charge me a cent for installation. Its a good day with rick working but hes been showing up less so i gotta start seeking a new field soon lol

My field is surprisingly chill. My aeg with quick adjust hopup was shooting over the joule limit and he just said ‘adjust it and your good’ so I did, that was it….

At the field where i play its really chill as long as you dont try to fool the staff. When the Backups shoot 1.1j on the first two or three shots instead of 1j they say its fine and when your gun is a bit inconsistent they will look for that and give you the proper marker.

SC might be a bad field, but they're not too strict with their chronoing. I was in line to get my gun chronod and the guy ahead of me came in at 408 with his HPA M4. The guys running the chrono said "8 over's not a big deal" Don't even deal with Tac at this point...

Similar thing almost happened to me at HSP awhile ago, field limit is 400 fps with .2s and the aeg chronoed at 410 or so. Had to barter with the guy for a bit but after awhile he let it slide 😮‍💨

Good that they sorted it... If it was consistently at 351 then I'd say that the gun deserves to be pulled. But I'd get that fixed and locked at 330/340 and be safe . Also, didn't you have a backup to use, like a pistol? Or would they still pull the band?

@@Gabriel-ti5nl no I'm saying that they shouldn't pull his band if a gun is shooting hot. They should just not allow him to use that gun. If you arrive with multiple guns then you can still run those. All guns must be chrono'd here before game day starts. So I take 1 or 2 rifles and 2 or 3 pistols and switch it up throughout the session. 1 session, my hop must have creeped or temp got too warm for gas and it was shooting hot at a random chrono during the day and they pulled it from being used. But I still had others i could use

If 350 is the limit, then "just 1 over" becomes "just 10 over", no get your gun under the limit and stop trying to push your luck, if it's HPA all you have to do is crank it down a little the fact that you fought against it obviously shows you were out to hurt people as much as you possibly could get away with

thats not the issue, if they told him THE FIRST TIME HE CHRONO ur 1 over pull it down fine, but they didnt and allowed it, plus this field puts bands on hpa regulators to stop them from being adjusted while playin, also if you are cying over 1fps DONT PLAY AIRSOFT

I mean you have to draw the line somewhere. 1 over shouldn't be an issue but then you have a**holes that are 2ps over complaining that they let you play going 1 over. And so on and so forth. It's indoor CQB. Just get a gun shooting 330 and you never have to worry about passing chrono again. 20fps in an indoor setting is a negligible amout of loss of range when your targets are only 20-50ft away.

350 is the maximum not a target. Configure your gun to at least 5fps below and you will be fine. What happens when they guy behind you comes up with a 352 gun then 355. Where do you draw the line... at 350

I mean yeah. Understandable statement. He should tune his rifle for the limit. But airsoft just isn't consistent all the time. He probably adjusted his hop after chronoing and now he's over. There is just a little more to it then the regulator and bb weight. Chronoing in fps with .2 with an hpa is stupid anyways.
